Results of inspections of the certification bodies, laboratories, and organizations in Russia

The Russian Accreditation Authority (Federal Service for Accreditation—RusAccreditation) inspected the activities of Russian certification bodies, organizations, and testing laboratories for possible violations.

For the period from January to August 2020, RusAccreditation conducted 722 inspections.

The inspections were made to:

 

  • Eliminate non-compliance with accreditation criteria  
  • Assess the implementation of previously issued injunctions  
  • Reveal possible violations by accredited individuals

As a result of the inspections:


  • 32 accreditation authorities received temporary injunctions in order to fix violations
  • 45 accreditation authorities were suspended
  • 179 judicial acts were issued to violators
  • 23 accreditations of organizations were terminated

5 accreditation bodies were closed due the non-elimination of inconsistencies in the accreditation criteria revealed during the procedure for the confirmation of competence.


Among them are 4 testing laboratories:

  1. «AUTOPROGRESS-M», LLC - RA.RU.21АИ31,
  2. «Al’gol», LLC - RA.RU.21АЕ90,
  3. «Interregional Center of Energy Efficiency and Regulation», LLC - RA.RU.21АВ51,
  4. «Negusneft’», JSC - РОСС RU.0001.514656,


and 1 organization ensuring measurement traceability:

    «Rostovski standard», LLC - RA.RU.312221



18 accreditation authorities were closed due to ignoring inconsistencies in the accreditation criteria revealed during the procedure of competence assessment.

RusAccreditation together with the Russian supervision authorities will continue to conduct serious work to prevent the flow of potentially hazardous products into the Russian market circulation along with the elimination of dishonest participants.
