The Comisión Nacional de Telecomunicaciones (CONATEL) of Paraguay has adopted technical standard NTC-RF-5925:2025 for the operation of low-power wireless access systems in the 5.925-6.425 MHz frequency band. The document establishes the technical parameters, criteria, and conditions for the operation of the equipment accessing the low-power wireless radio spectrum in this bandwidth. 

It is applicable for:

• Indoor low-power wireless access systems (LPI)
• Very low-power wireless access systems (VLP) for short-distances outdoor use

The National Frequency Allocation Plan (PNAF) of the Republic of Paraguay assigns the 5.925-6.425 MHz frequency band to FIXED, FIXED-SATELLITE (Earth-to-space), and MOBILE services under Primary Title.

Regarding the uses established in the Republic of Paraguay, the PNAF contemplates the following for the 5.925-6.425 MHz band:

• Fixed point-to-point radio link service (primary title)
• Fixed satellite service (primary title)
• Low- and very low-power wireless access systems (secondary title)

The systems must comply with the following operational parameters: 

• LPI

• The devices must maintenance the following channeling and maximum EIRP

• VLP

• The devices must maintenance the following channeling and maximum EIRP
