Korea Notifies on National Broadcasting and Communications Standards Revision
The National Radio Research Agency of Korea (RRA) has issued an announcement on December 30, 2025. The RRA informs about changes in national legislation with regards to national standards in the field of broadcasting and communications that became effective from December 31, 2025.
Thus, the RRA provided the following four Notices:
Notice 2025-21 that establishes 76 KS standards in the Information sector (x) for a period of 5 years;
Notice 2025-20 that repeals 16 KS standards that became insufficient effectiveness due to reduced usability in the domestic product and service sector or were based on the international standards that are currently invalid;
Notice 2025-19 that contains 9 revised KS standards;
Notice 2025-18 enacted 9 KS national standards worked out on the base of international and TTAK (Telecommunications Technology Association) Standards.
