India Starts Testing and Certification Process for Phase V Products

The GMA Consult Group reminds our Subscribers that Phase V within the Compulsory Registration Order becomes effective in India from April 1, 2021.


The following 7 categories of products within Phase V will become mandatory for approval against BIS standards to get access to the Indian market:


Although the Notification on Phase V becomes applicable from April 2021, the testing and certification procedure of the above-mentioned categories of products against requirements of BIS standards can be already carried out.
