Andean Technical Regulations on Softlines Labeling Are Postponed
The Andean Community adopted Resolution No. 2107 - Andean Technical Regulations for the Labelling of Footwear, Leather Goods, Travel Items and the Like - in November 2019. This Resolution would have to be effective in 12 months after its publication. However, the epidemiological situation in the world because of COVID-19 became the reason for postponing the effective date of these regulations. According to this Resolution, the labeling requirements for softlines and leather products shall enter into force on November 15, 2021.
