The Andean Community is an international organization that includes several organs and institutions and consists of:
4 Member Countries: Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru
5 Associated Countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, and Uruguay

The community is aimed at improving the quality of the products on the inner market and in trade with third countries to protect the health, safety of human beings, and the environment as well as consumer rights.
Recently, the Andean adopted unified labelling requirements for softlines and leather products. These requirements will allow domestic manufacturers to export their product across the world more easier as they help to comply with a multitude of often dissimilar labelling regulations.

This Technical Resolutions establishes the minimum information labeling requirements for footwear, leather goods, travel items, and the like, which are manufactured or imported and marketed within the Andean. The Resolution 2107 was published by the Adean on November 14, 2019 and will become effective from November 14, 2020
