Singapore Terminates Registration of Short-Range Devices Operating in 698–806 MHz Frequency Band
The Info-communications and Media Development Authority (IMDA) of Singapore has reviewed the spectrum allocation for short-range devices. In this regards, starting from January 1, 2019, all equipment that operates in frequency bands 698-806 MHz is prohibited for selling in Singapore. As a consequence, registration and the renewal procedure are not possible for the devices operating in this spectrum.
The IMDA published the “Cessation of Registration for Approval for Sale of Short-Range Devices Operating in the 698 - 806 MHz Frequency Band” in September 2018.
