There are two type approval schemes for  product:

  • the light  type approval scheme

  • the tight type approval scheme

The Scheme of approval depends on the location of a manufacturer and factories as well as on the availability of a certified quality management system and accreditation against ISO 17025 requirements.

Below is the detailed flow chart:

Under the light type approval scheme, the NTRA accepts CE or FCC reports issued by accredited laboratories.

Under the tight type approval scheme, an applicant should apply for Verification of Compliance Certificate (VoC) at one of the NTRA accredited test labs. This procedure will require sample testing according to the European applicable CE harmonized standards.
