New Technical Regulations for Radars in Argentina

A new technical standard ENACOM-Q2-64.01 V18.1 for “Radars Incorporated into Intelligent Transportation Systems” was published by the ENACOM (National Entity of Communications of Argentina).


According to this standard regulates the following permitted emission level is set



  • for radars that are used in the intelligent transportation systems and operate in 24.05 - 24.25 GHz bands


  • for radars that are used in the intelligent transportation systems and operate in 76 - 77 GHz band


Note that, if transmitters in the models are the same but antennas have different radioelectric characteristics, such devices will be considered as different equipment and must be tested separately.
