Amendments in CCC Conformity Assessment Procedure in China

The State Administration for market regulations together with the Certification and Accreditation Administration of the People’s Republic of China (CNCA) has recently updated the CCC regulation procedure.


The changes concern the lists of products for mandatory CCC conformity assessment and self-declaration procedures.


The table below contains the number of products excluded from the mandatory CCC conformity assessment procedure. Totally, the list includes more than 15 positions.

The self-declaration procedure is governed by CNCA-00C-008: 2018 and includes two types of the declaration scheme: Type “A” and Type “B”. The difference between these two types is that the Type “A” scheme allows choosing any laboratory for testing. The Type “B” scheme requires to use only accredited by the CNAS laboratory.


Note that, according to the customer's choice, self-declaration can be replaced by the certification procedure. And the Type “A” self-declaration procedure can be replaced by the Type “B” one.
