Ukraine Updates RoHS Regulations for Electrical and Electronic Equipment

On May 16, 2018, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the Decree №383  introducing changes to the Technical Regulation for the Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment.


The changes implement new terms for the application of restrictions of the use of certain hazardous substances for certain types of electrical and electronic equipment such as lamps, alloys, ceramic elements of electrical products and dialectrics, parts of refrigerators, light filters, printing inks, lasers, etc.


In most cases, manufacturers and importers should follow these restrictions the next decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
