Amendments to EAEU Technical Regulation Safety of Products for Children and Adolescents
Eurasian Economic Commission has issued Decision №157 that approves Technical Regulation on Safety of Products for Children and Adolescents. This document amends previous Decision №797.
A new Decision №51 establishes requirements for products subject to Technical Regulation 007/2011 on Safety of Products for Children and Adolescents. The following amendments were introduced before Decision №51 came into force:
Conformity assessment documents, which prove product compliance with mandatory requirements, are valid until the expiration date.
Manufacturing of products and their release into circulation within the EAEU territory are allowed until the product conformity assessment documents are expited.
Products that are put into the market during the validity period of the conformity assessment documents are allowed during their shelf life.
The following products are allowed for production and circulation within the territory of the EAEU without documents of mandatory conformity assessment and without placing EAC mark on a product during 12 months from the issue date of Decision No. 51: toothbrushes, electric toothbrushes, gum massagers, and similar oral care products intended for children over 3 years and adolescents
