Results of Inspections of Accredited Certification Bodies, Laboratories, and Organizations in Russia

The Russian Accreditation Authority (The Federal Service for Accreditation—RusAccreditation) inspected the activities of Russian certification bodies, organizations, and testing laboratories for possible violations. During April 2018, RusAccreditation conducted 178 inspections.


The inspections were made to:


  • eliminate non-compliance with accreditation criteria

  • assess the implementation of previously issued injunctions

  • reveal possible violations by accredited individuals


During the inspection of certification authorities, some violations have been revealed and:

  • 28 accreditation authorities received temporary injunctions in order to fix violations

  • 26 accreditations were suspended including 2 certification bodies, 18 test laboratories, and 5 organizations

  • 23 juridicial acts were issued to bring to justice those violators

  • 9 accreditations of organizations were terminated


These 3 organization were closed due to nonobservance of earlier issued injunctions:


Certification bodies:

   - LLC NTC «Energy»—RA.RU.10АД83,

   - LLC «Center of analytical technologies «Progress»—РОСС RU.0001.11МО07,

Inspection body:

   - FGBYZ CGiE № 92 FMBA of Russia – RA.RU.710160


6 other organizations were closed due to ignoring inconsistencies in the accreditation criteria revealed during the procedure of competence assessment.


RusAccreditation together with the Russian supervision authorities will continue to conduct serious work to prevent the flow of potentially hazardous products into the Russian market along with the elimination of dishonest participants.
