Changes in Customs Union (EAEU) regulations
Starting from 22.12.2016 new requirements for market access (CoC / DoC) to the Customs Union (EAEU - Eurasian Economic Union) will come in force by the Decision #154 dated 15.11.2016 of the EAEU Commission:
The two main changes that will take place are:
The APPLICANT for the CoC / DoC can only be a legal entity registered in the territory of the Customs Union (EAEU) - local manufacturer, retailer or an authorised Local Representative. Foreign manufacturer is not allowed to be the applicant for the CoC / DoC in the CU (EAEU).
The CONTENT of the CoC / DoC will now have to mandatory include the list of an applicable standards in the CU (EAEU) or, country-specific standards, if there are no common standards in place in the CU (EAEU).
Please, find below list of the applicable EAEU standards for the main consumer electrical product categories and their respective International and European versions.

Note, that all the CoCs / DoCs issued before 22.12.2016 will still be valid until their respective expiry dates.
