The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology of the Republic of Indonesia issued Regulation No 7, 2018 that implements changes to the Type Approval Certification in Indonesia. According to Part 8 of the Regulations, only a legal entity of Indonesia or a resident of the Republic of Indonesia can apply for certification of telecommunication equipment. If any changes occur within the validity period of the certificate, the applicant has to inform the certification body as soon as possible, whereafter the certification body amends the certificate.
