Morocco Sets New Technical Conditions for Short-Range Devices

The National Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ANRT) of Morocco has recently revised the decision on Specification related to the use of Short-Range Devices (SRD). The new Decision  ANRT/DG/N°07/2020 dated by June 25, 2020 replaces the amended Decision ANRT/DG/N°08/13.

In general, the technical requirements remain the same. The ANRT just revised some frequency bands as well as added some new ones.

Thus, Frequency Bands in Annex 1 “Non-specific SRD” were amended as follows:

Annex 2 “Induction loop material” is supplemented by the new band:

Annex 10 was combined with Annex 9 and now contains information on “Wireless microphones, audio transmission devices, and hearing aids”. The bands in the Annex were totally reconsidered as indicated below:

Annex XI “SRD radiodetermination applications including Equipment for Detecting Movement” is supplemented by the new band:

Annex XII: ”Radio frequency identification (RFID)” is supplemented by the new band:

Annex XIII: ”Tracking, tracing and data acquisition devices” is supplemented by the new band:
