The National Radio Research Agency (RRA) of South Korea published Notification No. 2025-22 on December 31, 2025, introducing a partial revision of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Standards.
The revision was prompted by reported malfunctions of platform protective door (PSD) sensors. The problem originated in radio waves from 5G mobile broadband.

New requirements on resistance to broadband radiated radio-frequency electromagnetic fields have been added to the EMC Standards for Multimedia Devices with regards to housing connector resistance.
The Notification becomes effective six months after the date of its publication.
