Ivory Coast Now Requires Approval
for Radar Systems

Recently, the Ivorian Radio Frequency Management Agency (AIGF) published an official letter notifying about the authorization granted to the Ivory Coast-Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (ARTCI) with regards to radar systems approval.

Thus, the ARTCI is now able to carry out conformity assessment procedures and issue type approval certificates for radar systems operating on the 76-77 GHz frequency band and intended to be used in vehicles as a collision warning system.

Thus, please note that manufacturers of radar systems for vehicles working on the 76-77 GHz frequency band should get approval from the ARTCI to be marketed in the country.
