
European Commission, at the request of the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (Cenelec) and the European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI), introduced amendments to Decision (EU) 2022/2191 regarding harmonized standards for digital enhanced cordless telecommunications devices, short-range devices (SRDs), satellite systems, broadband and wideband data transmission systems, international mobile telecommunication systems, aeronautical and meteorological radars, 5 and 6 GHz WAS/RLAN equipment, wireless digital video links, and advanced surface movement guidance and control systems.
The Commission, together with ETSI, has assessed the requested harmonised standards for further use.
The Commission published Decision (EU) 2025/893 on May 14, 2025 which amends Decision (EU) 2022/2191 by adding a notice on the emissions requirements in the frequency band below 9 kHz for the following rows:

Additionally, the Commission determined legacy versions of some harmonised standards, however. However, it gives manufacturers sufficient time to carry out any adaptations in relation to their radio equipment covered by the revised harmonised standard. That is why, from May 14, 2025, untill the end of the transition period, two revisions of the following standards are valid:

Please note, the transitional period for harmonised standard EN 301 893 V2.1.1 is extended to 2028 due to the complexity of the supply chain, which must be revised.
The Commission also included the following standards, drafted by ETSI at the request of the Commission, which can be used from May 14, 2025:

As a reminder, compliance with a harmonised standard provides an evidentiary presumption of conformity with the corresponding essential requirements defined in EU harmonisation legislation from the date of publication of the reference of such standard in the Official Journal of the European Union.
