Colombia Issues Resolution on COVID-19 Prevention Measures

The Communications Regulation Commission (CRC) of Colombia issued Resolution 6315 on May 31, 2021. The Resolution is aimed to extend the validity of some preventive measures that have been applied during the coronavirus COVID-19 up to August 31, 2021.

Among them are:

  • The CRC changed telephone service hours enabling users to contact them from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, 7 days per week;
  • There are exceptional conditions of provision of postal services during the pandemic;
  • Now users can refuse parcels, and couriers must record the rejection and the reasons.

The CRC and the Ministry of Information and Communication Technologies also carry out follow-up to verify efficiency of services rendered by providers of telecommunications networks and postal operators.

The Resolution itself you can find here.
